This is a step-by-step guide on how to check and adjust the valves on a Honda TRX450R. The valve adjustment was performed on a 2005 TRX450R but should be very similar on any year TRX450R. Click the picture on the left to see the full article complete with pictures and informative text.
TRX450R Crankcase Pressure
(Click for full article)
Crankcase
This is a write up about the crankcase pressure I found in my TRX450R after Dyno Session #3 and before Dyno Session #4. A piece of plastic from the cam chain tensioner was lodged in the relief valve holding it open causing the oil to bypass the oil cooler and dump it directly back into the crank case.
