First time on the dyno - shows a nice comparison between the HMF Sport Series and DASA full exhausts on a mildly modified 2005 Honda TRX450R. The clutch was
slipping during these runs so I scheduled another dyno session for December of 2006 (below).

The Little Bike's third trip to the dyno was in January of 2008 after a few mods. The bike pulled very strong down low and made good low end torque, however;
there was a very pronounced dip at the upper end of the RPM range. Jetting would not cure the dip. After a lot of testing/troubleshooting, a piece of plastic
from the timing chain tensioner was found lodged in the relief valve holding it open causing the oil to bypass the oil cooler and dump it directly back into
the crank case. This caused the major loss in power in the top end. You can read more about the crank case pressue issue
here. See the August 2008 dyno graphs (directly below) for the results of the fix. Check out the short
video for this dyno session too.

After the disappointing dyno runs in January 2008, and then finding the cause of the problem in summer of 2008, we went to a "stingy" dyno in
Washington, PA at Steel City Harley Davidson. Six different ATVs were dyno'd the same day and graphs for all of them are provided below
This dyno read ~13-14% lower than the dynos used in the previous sessions. I included "corrected" HP/TQ numbers for what the bike would have
made on a normal Dynojet 168. Since a stock '06/'07 TRX450R makes ~39 hp/29 tq on Dynojet 168, and the stock '07 TRX450R made ~34 hp/24 tq
on this Dynojet 250ix; I used a conservative 10% difference for calculating the
correction. To see how the
corrected numbers were calculated, click
here.

This dyno session shows a nice comparison between the latest engine build on the Little Bike, and Sr's updated stock bore/stroke race gas build.

flat or ideal.

This dyno session was a very short one due to electrical and spark plug issues. We were never able to get a full pull out of the bike, it would spit
and sputter and hit a false rev limiter 700 - 1500 RPM before the programmed rev limit. I later found out this was due to both a bad stator and
faulty spark plug.

In late 2015, I found a crack in the Little Bike's "Wicked" ported head and decided to send the entire motor, along with a brand new OEM head out to
Racers Edge AZ. They ported the new head, swapped the valve train over, and assembled the top end with a much safer deck height than before. They
installed the little bike's engine in their dyno chassis and tested four different intakes for a nice comparison.
